ABOUT US

Instituto PROA was created in 2007 with the objective of creating opportunities for personal and professional development for low-income young people coming from public schools, helping them to become protagonists of their own stories and to enter the labor market. Since then, PROA has trained more than 9,500 young people and today it operates in the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul with two main projects: the PROPROFESSION course and the PROA Platform.

Alini Dal’Magro

CEO

Alini Dal'Magro has a Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of São Paulo – USP, and a degree in Administration from the Federal University of Santa Catarina – UFSC.
She presents academic experiences at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral – UNL (Argentina) and at the Western University – Ontario (Canada). She served as Head of the Technical Education Business Unit at Somos Educação and the PMO responsible for the merger of Saraiva Educação.
She was director of consulting and online courses at Instituto Singularidades. Experience with new businesses, design and development of online courses, leadership of multidisciplinary teams, consulting, digital transformation and company structuring. She is currently CEO of Instituto PROA.

Fabiano Gonçalves

Operations Manager

Fabiano studied Software Development at FIAP and an MBA in Business Management at Universidade Católica de Brasília.

He led projects in several other NGOs such as: Associação Cultura Franciscana, Instituto Ayrton Senna and Instituto Ismart.

He is currently Operations Manager at Instituto PROA, responsible for the PROA Platform and for managing education projects using technology for young people.

Regiane Tofanello

Employability Manager

Regiane studied Psychology at the University Center of Faculdades Metropolitanas.

She coordinated the human resources area at companies such as: Page Personnel, Hays and PepsiCo.

Today she works as Employability Manager at Instituto PROA, responsible for managing the employability team, relationship with employers, and the perfect match between young people and job offers.

Ana Laura Valério Silva

Product and Engagement Coordinator

Ana Laura studied Literature at the University of São Paulo and an MBA in Administration at FIA.

She worked as a didactic content editor in companies such as: Stage Educacional, Editora do Brasil, Saraiva Educação and FTD Educação.

She is currently the Product and Engagement Coordinator at Instituto PROA, responsible for coordinating the PROA Platform and engaging young people.

Ana Carolina Miki

Service Coordinator

Ana Miki studied Advertising at Centro Universitário Teresa D’Ávila and an MBA in Business Management at Centro Universitário Salesiano de São Paulo.

She has worked in project development and customer relations at companies such as Colégio Embraer Juarez Wanderley, Hotel Rainha do Brasil and Instituto ISMART.

She is currently the Service Coordinator at Instituto PROA, responsible for the relationship with young people at Plataforma PROA.

Bruna Barletta

Institutional Coordinator

Bruna Barletta studied Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and a Master's in Law from Columbia University in New York.

She has worked as a lawyer at companies such as: Demarest Advogados, Columbia Law School and was an educational policy analyst at the Lemann Foundation.

Today, she works as Institutional Coordinator at Instituto PROA, responsible for structuring and organizing the administrative, financial, legal, and people and management areas.

Jorge Hohmuth

Marketing Coordinator

Jorge Hohmuth studied Advertising and Publicity at Faculdade Cásper Líbero, he is a specialist in Digital Marketing at Tera and the SP Digital School.

He led large projects in international advertising agencies such as: Publicis, Bold and DM9DDB serving large clients such as: Ambev, P & G, Sanofi and BrF. He has also worked in institutional marketing at Itaú.

He is currently the Marketing Coordinator at Instituto PROA, responsible for all communication and marketing in the internal and external areas, management of the communication team, relationship with partners, funders and volunteers.

Wesley Linares de Lima

Pedagogical Coordinator

Wesley attended the Mechanical Technician, graduated in Scienced with a major in Mathematics.

With specializations Lato Sensu in Institutional Psychopedagogy, in Digital Technologies and Innovation in Education and in Teaching in Technical and Higher Education (studying). Certified as Google Certified Educator level 2. Acting at Senac 2008 until 2021, as a teacher of technical courses, free and corporate service and for 6 years as a PROPROFESSION teacher. He was coordinator of corporate service programs and the implementation of the Google for Education project. In industry, among other functions, he served as Production Manager for 8 years.

He is currently the Pedagogical Coordinator at Instituto PROA, responsible for all pedagogical actions at the institution.

Túlio Freitas

Product Specialist

Túlio Freitas studied Systems Analysis and Development at Centro Universitário Monte Serrat.

He has worked as a web and front-end developer at companies such as: CaSoft, Factor Business Solutions, AllClick and Acesso Soluções e Pagamentos.

He is currently a Product Specialist at Instituto PROA, responsible for developing the PROA Platform.

Thiago Mata

Marketing & Growth Analyst

Thiago holds a degree in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo.

He had four years of experience in the marketing area at DuPont Latin America and two years of experience in the communication area at Itaú Unibanco.

He is currently a Marketing and Growth Analyst at Instituto PROA, responsible for the communication and strategy of the selection processes of the PROPROFESSION and PROA Platform courses.

Adriana Lopes

Partnership and Employability Analyst

Adriana Lopes studied Pedagogy at Universidade Paulista and completed a postgraduate degree in business administration.

She has worked in the relationship area of large educational institutions, in companies such as: Senac, FAAP and FGV.

She is currently a Partnership and Employability Analyst at Instituto PROA, responsible for prospecting and relationship with partners and employers.

Marcela Magalhães graduated from Instituto PROA and has a degree in Psychology from Universidade São Judas Tadeu.

She has worked in personnel department areas at companies such as: Ford Mix, Solution Services and Grupo Modo.

She is currently an Employability Analyst at Instituto PROA, responsible for forwarding PROANES to the job market, relationship with employers and management of the Alumni group.

Employability Analyst

Ilda Reis has a degree in Human Resources from Universidade Paulista.

She has already worked at Employer Tudo do RH, where she stayed for 5 years and 4 months. Ilda was a Young Apprentice, Receptionist, Recruitment and Selection Assistant and Recruitment and Selection Assistant.

She is currently an Employability Analyst at Instituto PROA, responsible for forwarding PROANES to the job market, relationship with employers and management of the Alumni group.

Thayssa Cardoso

Employability Analyst

Thayssa has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Santo Amaro (UNISA).

She worked at Holcim as an Intern for 1 year. She was an Administrative Assistant at Azul Locadora, and worked for 4 years at Randstad Brasil in Human Resources solutions as a Corporate Account Analyst.

She is currently an Employability Analyst at Instituto PROA, responsible for directing young people from PROA to the job market and building relationship with employers.

Pedagogical Operations Analyst

Rosani studied Psychology at Camilo Castelo Branco University and did a postgraduate degree in Pedagogy at Cruzeiro do Sul University.

She was a pedagogical advisor in companies such as: UnicSul, Saraiva Educação and SOMOS Educação.

She is currently a Pedagogical Operations Analyst at Instituto PROA, responsible for engagement, management of young people in the PROPROFESSION course and relationship with partners and suppliers.

Letícia Boaventura graduated from Instituto PROA and is studying Marketing at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi.

She had experience in the administrative area as a young apprentice at Shopping Iguatemi.

She is currently a Marketing Assistant at Instituto PROA, responsible for managing social media, website, reports and newsletters.

2007

A group of entrepreneurs came together with a common dream: to help young people with few opportunities to become masters of their own lives. Based on this objective, Susanna Lemann, Marcelo Barbará and Florian Bartunek founded Instituto PROA.

2008

PROA started working in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro with a course in small repairs in mechanics, automotive painting and business management.

2009

Even in a year of strong global crisis, new financiers arrive at PROA: Instituto Credit Suisse Hedging-Griffo and RB Capital join Fundação Lemann. The course that was previously divided into mechanics, automotive painting and business management classes, now the focus is on business management only.

2010

Quantitative leap: an increase from 190 to 300 young people benefited.

2011

PROA's first opportunities fair and new employers board the boat to support young people in finding their first job.

2012

Strengthening of our network of volunteers who collaborate for the development of young PROANES in events and activities.

2013

Historical result: 336 graduated students, 55% of PROA students fulfill their dream of starting higher or technical education, 97% attend the course, 88% young employees.

2014

PROA completes more than 1,000 young people trained and ready for the job market!

2015

Fundação Casas Bahia boards the boat to support us in transforming lives.

2016

Students Raissa Joseph and Larissa Cardoso create a rap that expresses exactly what young people feel when they become PROANES.

2017

PROA completes its first 10 years with 10 impact components: purpose, teamwork, expanding horizons, protagonism, experience, recognition, transparency, management, achievement and excellence.

2018

PROACOINS appears, the PROA game that encourages users to circulate through thousands of cultural attractions, receiving credits for each question answered about the missions, being able to convert the coins into cultural or educational benefits.

2019

The first PROA Talks, an event that brought together more than 800 PROANES at the Municipal Theater of São Paulo, with speakers Luiza Heleza Trajano (Magazine Luiza), Nathalia Arcuri (Me Save!), Rodrigo Galvão (Oracle) and Tiago Alves (Regus ).

2020

Launch of the PROA teaching system “Youth on Board of the Future” composed of teaching materials to support young people: Life Project, Communication, Logical Reasoning and Experiences.

2021

The PROA Platform is born, whose main objective is to train more than 400 thousand young people online for the job market, with a focus on teaching socio-emotional subjects.
